| Description |
Modern marbled boards. Autograph manuscript, in ink on 16-stave paper. A complete sketch for a chorus not included in the published Ricordi edition of 1837. Vaccai composed 'Il monumento di Milano' the final part of In morte di M.F. Malibran de Bériot which included music by Donizetti, Pacini, Mercadante and Coppola. Malibran had sung the title role of Vaccai's opera Giovanna Gray first performed on 23rd February 1826. |
