Autograph musical quotation, signed, of the opening three-bars of the Gavotte from his Suite for piano, Op.1, in D minor, written in brown ink on hand-drawn staves, signed and dated. The Suite Op.1 was dedicated to Marie ("Mimi") Gräfin von Schleinitz (1842-1912) who was very influential in the German musical world of the late nineteenth century. |
