Description |
Stapled as issued in publisher's printed wrappers. Middle gathering detached. The sources of the tunes from which these arrangements have been made are two old books of Scottish airs and dances, circa 1790. To quote the title pages, these consisted of 'Favourite new country dances as danced at the Assembly', and 'Neil Gow's most fashionable dances as danced at Edinburgh in 1787 and 1788'. Dedicated to Muir Mathieson, whose copy this was. |
