Description |
Contemporary reverse half calf (worn, backstrips decaying, front cover of violino primo detached), marbled boards (dusty). Engraved. Viola part from a slightly different set with title-page reading "... for Violins in four Parts") and thus lacking overture no.65 and the Coronation Anthem. Sixty-six overtures from operas, oratorios and miscellaneous works, scored for two violins, viola, basso, two oboes and continuo, with an additional volume containing odd parts for third violin, horns, trumpets and timpani.
