Description |
Disbound, sewn, final two leaves detached. Pictorial title torn from inner margin half way, final leaf torn and reinforced. Title with royal throne within a pavilion, surrounded by pillars, sea and ships, with depiction of Richard Howe, 1st Earl Howe (1726-1799) atop a cloud: Howe died on 5 August 1799. Other images on the pillars include Vincent, Duncan, Bridport, Nelson, Smith and Mitchell. |
