Gilt wood frame with dark green-coloured card mount, glazed. A sheet music cover from a published individual aria with pictorial title lithographed by Brandard. Gardoni and Angiolini performed in the Royal Italian Opera Season of May-August 1858 in Fra Diavolo. Angiolina made her London début in 1852 at Covent Garden as Adina in Donizetti's L’elisir d’amore. |
