Gilt wood frame with green-coloured card mount, glazed. A sheet music cover from a published individual work (D'Albert's Quadrille) with pictorial chromolithograph title after Brandard. Giulia Grisi is depicted full-length, standing to front, holding an evergreen tiara, with two other characters. Grisi and Mario performed in Il Trovatore in the Royal Italian Opera season at Covent Garden in 1858. |
