Engraved. Comprising: The wish ('Mine be a cot beside a hill'); A sketch of the Alps, at day break ('The sunbeams streak the azure skies'); Go, go along you idle boy ('Go, go along you idle boy'); On the departure of the nightingale ('Sweet poet of the woods along adieu!'); Inscription on a grotto ('Hence! away nor dare intrude'). |
