Stitched/folded as issued. Outer bifolium (partly water-stained) as cover with charming engraved pictorial scene of ladies and gentlemen in a formal garden, title written in manuscript. Copyist's manuscript (?Giovanni Chiari) in brown ink on ten-stave paper. These virtuosic works do not appear to be referenced by RISM online, which notes some other instrumental works by the flautist and composer Mosell. Dedicated to Antonino Lotteringhi della Stufa, of the royal bodyguard to Carlo Ludovico Ferdinando di Borbone-Parma (1799-1883), King of Etruria from 1803. |
