Half calf (rubbed, worn, scratched, boards detached and volume in two pieces). Internally good with wide margins. Engraved. Text by Thomas Morell (1703-1784). With frontispiece portrait of the composer by Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780); the scene below with decorative ornaments by Hubert François Gravelot (1699-1773), although his name does not appear on the engraving [see William C. Smith, Concerning Handel, pp.128-129)]. |
