Half calf (very worn and rubbed, hinges and joints broken, second volume with front board detached). A good set internally with the frontispieces by Gerard van der Gucht (1695-1776) after Hugh Howard (1675-1737) which are often missing. Engraved. Inscribed in vol.I "The Gift of Lord Cadogan to Miss Furey". |
