Publisher's printed original traditional cotton print with an overall pattern of tiny white flowers against a grey background. Lettering in black and gilt. Gilt blind-stamped overlay of several floral stems. Sewing broken at central part. Forty-seven pages, each illustrated with Monvel's whimsical pastel illustrations. A very nice copy of an enchanting book. Delightful full colour illustrations throughout. |
