| Description |
Brown half cloth with dark purple boards. Transfer printing. Libretto by the composer; first performed on 26 July 1882 at Bayreuth. The earliest issue contains ca 110 printing errors, which were indicated on a corrigenda leaf (photocopy included here). Only one of the corrections is implemented in the present copy - the first one of all (p.5, system 6, bar 1), where the first note in the piano accompaniment, left hand, is corrected to b (instead of the original e). The other original misprints persist here. The full score was not published until December 1883. |
