La Grande Duchesse Alexandre Feodorowna, 1817" [the marriage of Nicolas I (1796-1855) to Alexandre Feodorovna (1798-1860) on 13 July 1817 [the volume includes a further unascribed Polonaise written on the same occasion]; ii) Polonaise Koslovsky, Executée le 12 Decr. anniversaire de la naissance de S.M. Alexandre I, Empereur de Russie [Alexander I (1777-1825)]; iii) Polonaise de Koslovsky Executée à la mascarade au Palais de Tauride le 18 fevrier 1816; iv) Polonaise de Koslovsky Executée au jour des fiançailles de S.A.S. la Grande Dsse Catherine Pavlovna avec le Prince Hereditaire de Würtemberg" [Marriage of Ekaterina Pavlovna (1788-1819) to Crown Prince Wilhelm of Würtemberg (1781-1864) on 24 January 1816]. The volume also contains a "Polonaise Executée au jour des fiançailles de la Grande Dsse Anna Pawlowna avec S.A. Le Prince d’Orange" [Marriage of Anna Pavlovna (1795-1865) to King Willem II of the Netherland (1792-1865) on 21 February 1816]. Although much of Koslovsky's working life was attached to the Russian Imperial court and his Polonaises and other compositions were published in St Petersburg, mainly by Paez, we have found only one with a title which links to the Russian imperial family (being a dedication to Elizabeth Alexeievna (1779-1826)); this interesting volume curiously seems to indicate either the first owner's link to St Petersburg or to the court circles there.
