Publisher's printed pictorial boards (backstrip worn and missing some pieces), corners and joints rubbed and worn. Some occasional foxing. Coloured pictorial title-page; without printed price. Lithographed. Of the five "first editions" seen by us in the last ten years all have been variants of "that" described by Hopkinson: this copy does mention the reduction as being by Franco Faccio (p.[i]). Some blue ink stage annotations to the part of Aida, and some black ink German translation, but neither consistent or throughout. |
