Black cloth. Title dust-stained; outer edges worn and some with old paper reinforcements. Engraved. Signed by the composer on the title. Ownership signature of Thomas Henry Wait Armstrong (1898-1994) and a note by him on fly-leaf: "This copy belonged to Mrs Barter of Oxford, a daughter of Moberly, of Winchester College. She was a pupil of Wesley when he was at Winchester Cathedral, and the pencil marks in this copy were put in by him". |
